Cat Works as Security Guard at Filipino Bank

A photo of a cat wearing and identification card is going viral.

The cat's ID is from the Development Bank of the Philippines and bears the name "Muning", ABS-CBN News reported.

The animal works as one of the security personnel, guarding the bank from rats. Muning is very good at catching rats from the main office of DBP in Makati.

Aside from the name and work position, its ID also has a picture and is tied around the cat's neck like how a regular employee would wear an ID to work.

"Word goes around that 'Muning' catches so many rats," The person who uploaded the viral photo wrote on Facebook. She also added that she might even be included in the payroll.

The photo currently has over 2,630 likes and more than 1,700 shares.
