Lindsay Lohan left her court-ordered treatment program at Cliffside in Malibu, Calif. with sobriety on her mind and a fresh perspective on life, but did she take a little more than that away with her? The Daily Mail reports that Lohan met and hooked up with a fellow patient, and sources claim the two are still in contact. So who is the mystery person?
Allegedly, there's a new man in Lohan's life, a fellow in-patient who was asked to leave the program as he and Lohan's flirting may have upset others in the program.
"Prior to Lindsay's arrival I was roommates with the guy who ended up dating her. When she came, the first or second day they ended up kissing and it was on from there," a source told Radar Online. "Everybody in rehab knew they were dating. It was pretty obvious. But the guy eventually got kicked out because of Lindsay. The guy who owns Cliffside slacked on the rules for Lindsay, but they got cocky with their relationship and people got uncomfortable with the situation, saying they couldn't do that stuff when people are trying to get well."
"They're still together now," said the Radar source. "They go to meetings outside and she meets him there. She still talks to him every day."
Since Lohan left treatment, she hasn't been spotted with anyone other than friends and family, as the star recently packed up and moved into a NYC apartment with the help of her little sister, Ali Lohan, after having had canceled her big trip to Europe in favor of staying in the city and working on her sobriety with the help of an unnamed "sober coach."
Whether or not Radar's source on Lohan's love life is accurate, this isn't the first time details of her time in treatment have been outed to the public, as a fellow former patient Tommy Tracy revealed details of the 27-year old star's stay to FOX 5.
"[Lindsay]'s got a lot of strong talent acting, but there really wasn't acting there. There was really more soul searching there and her inter-development of her well-being and wanting to gain independence for herself," Tracy reportedly told the news channel.
As for Lohan's career, she'll be back on-screen in her latest flick, "The Canyons," and on an eight part docu-series on her life in recovery on Oprah Winfrey's OWN Network.
"Oppressively misanthropic and ineptly made, The Canyons serves as a sour footnote in Paul Schrader's career," RottenTomatoes' reviewers collectively agree about the new film, scoring it at a 23 percent "fresh" rate so far. "But it does feature some decent late-period work from Lindsay Lohan," the site adds in its film review summary.
