England has the opportunity to clinch the Test series on Friday with a win. England won the first Test by 14 runs, the second by 347 runs and the third ended in a draw.
Following the draw, England brought on Graham Onions and Chris Tremlett to help it on the bowling front, Eurosport reports (via Yahoo!).
Australia, meanwhile, needs its first win to keep any hope alive of coming back to win the series. Jackson Bird is expected to make his first appearance in the Ashes after being named to the team's 12-man squad.
One notable storyline in the Ashes series is the allegations that players are trying to cheat Hot Spot by using silicon tape. England skipper Alastair cook addressed the allegations.
"Players have been putting tape on their bats for years," Cook said, via Eurosport. "I just think the actual story is a load of rubbish in terms of why people are putting tape on their bats. Fibreglass tape on their bats, that's been going on for years. That's just to protect the bat to make it last longer. I think the whole story we have to rubbish it because it is rubbish."
Australia skipper Michael Clarke also touched on the allegations and vouched for his locker room, saying no player on the Australian squad cheats.
