Ever wonder what's going through Christian Grey's head when he's orchestrating business deals, signing contracts or even better, spending quality alone time with Anastasia Steele?
Well, this time around, it's Christian Grey's turn to tell his story.
After taking a three-year break following the release of her "Fifty Shades" series, E.L. James announced on Monday that she will be releasing a new version of "Fifty Shades of Grey" this month written from Christian Grey's point of view!
Ladies, REJOICE!
"This book is dedicated to those readers who asked...and asked... and asked... and asked for this," James said in a statement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past," she added. "Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story. It's been a great pleasure to return to my happy place-writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage."
The 52-year-old British author also made the announcement via social media posting a photo of Christian's eye, with the caption, "Hello all. For those of you who have asked, Christian's POV of #FSOG is published on 18th June for his birthday. It's called GREY... I hope you enjoy it."
The S&M-themed best-selling books - "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker," and "Fifty Shades Freed" - have sold more than 125 million copies worldwide. The books are told from the perspective of Anastasia Steele, the naive college graduate who finds herself obsessed with Mr. Grey's BDSM fantasies.
The movie version of "Fifty Shades" that stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson grossed over $569 million at the worldwide box office after it premiered Feb. 13, 2015. The sequels are set for 2017 and 2018 releases.
James' husband, author and screenwriter Niall Leonard, will reportedly replace the first film's screenwriter Kelly Marcel, who along with director Sam Taylor-Johnson, will not be returning for the movie's sequels.
