Beirut's 'No No No' Is New Music Monday-Worthy (HEAR IT)

Beirut released a new upbeat song full of jazzy horns on Monday—the band's first new music since the 2011 album "The Rip Tide."

The new tune, "No No No," will be found on the album of the same name, which is slated to come out Sept. 11.

"I had completely broken down and my body was making me pay for it," said Beirut's lead singer, Zach Condon, about the adversity that led to the creation of the new album, according to Pitchfork. "For the first time in my life, I was facing extreme self doubt. I had hit rock bottom."

Things started looking up for Condon after he fell in love with a Turkish woman, according to Radio.com. "Having a positive presence like her both provides a healthy guiding force and shines a light on all the negative things in your life. I definitely wouldn't be where I am now without her," he explained.

Beirut kick off a tour ahead of the release of "No No No" June 19 in Woodstock, N.Y.
