Singer Ed Sheeran sang acoustic and karaoke versions of heavy metal and hardcore rap songs on “The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, such as Limp Bizkit’s “Break Stuff” and Ty Dolla Sign’s “Paranoid.”
"You're going to love his new album, 'Ed Sheeran Sings Heavy Metal,'" Fallon said, according to People.com. "Pop music's cherub-faced troubadour sings 25 of the darkest, most skull-crushing songs ever written."
Sheeran has risen to fame since he came out of being homeless in the United Kingdom, according to The Daily Mail.
He also credits his firm parents and chaotic breakups for his recent successes, which includes a hit he released on “Later With Jools Holland” in 2014 called “Thinking Out Loud,” according to Billboard.com.
Sheeran told the website that he was influenced by singer Justin Timberlake's songs when recording the music.
“I love 'Justified' and 'FutureSex/LoveSounds,' so I took inspiration from those," Sheeran said of the track that he made after he debuted the music video for another one of his songs called “Sing,” Billboard.com reported.
