Novak Djokovic meets Richard Gasquet on Friday in the 2013 Rogers Cup quarterfinals. The match is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.

World No. 1 Djokovic hopes his impressive season nets him another title. The Serb has lost only six matches this season while winning three titles, including the Australian Open. After losing in the 2013 Wimbledon final to Andy Murray, Djokovic is anxious to get another shot at a title. He's won the Rogers Cup three times (2007, 2011, 2012) and can become a three-peat champion with a tournament win.

Djokovic cruised past Florian Mayer in the second round of the Rogers Cup, defeating him 6-2, 6-1.

"As the match went on, I felt more comfortable on the court," Djokovic told Sky Sports. "That's something that makes me happy. Obviously to win the first match after four weeks, first match on hard courts since Miami basically this year, it's been more than a few months.

"In order to play that well, I have to keep up and practise tomorrow, so I'm confident I can continue on."

The Serb did continue on, albeit having to rally from behind. Denis Istomin took Djokovic to three sets in the third round before falling 6-2, 4-6, 4-6 to Djokovic.

Now Gasquet stands in the Serb's way of a semifinals spot. Gasquet, ranked No. 9 in the World, has lost only twice this season and has two titles under his belt. He defeated Nikolay Davydenko in the Qatar Exxon Mobil Open final in Doha and Benoit Paire in the Open Sud de France final in Montpellier.

Gasquet and Djokovic have met on the ATP circuit eight times, according to MatchStat.com. In their eight head-to-head matches, Gasquet has won once (2007 Shanghai). The two last met at the 2012 Rogers Cup final, where Djokovic won in two sets.
