Another "Teen Mom" star is in rehab, but it's not for drug use.
"Teen Mom 2" star Leah Messer has checked into a 30-day program and is reportedly seeking treatment for depression and stress, In Touch Weekly reported. The 23-year-old reality star is said to have checked into a Utah facility on May 21 and could check out of rehab at the end of June.
"She's ready for her 30-day stint of therapy," a source told the magazine. "She's being treated for depression and stress. She's always put other people's needs ahead of her own, and her mental health suffered because of it."
In a new teaser for the MTV series, Messer admitted that she has "been accused of being an unfit mother, abusing drugs." The clip comes after Messer's mother took to Facebook in April, insisting that her daughter was not heading to rehab for drugs.
"TRUE FANS listen up. Leah is NOT going to rehab lol," the post read, according to the Daily Mail. "This is Momma Dawn and I 100% ASSURE you that Leah is NOT going to a DRUG REHAB. Lots of LOVE to the true fans. all will come out on the upcoming show about Leah Dawn Calvert, Jeremy, Corey, Miranda, and the babies. But rest assure I HATE drugs don't want association with them and wouldn't NEVER Condone them. Love ALL have a good night Momma Dawn."
Calvert's husband Jeremy Calvert reportedly served her divorce papers in April. In the clip, he is heard telling to former cheerleader that, "The girl I fell in love with ain't the girl I got now."
Calvert and Calvert married in 2012 and the couple share two-year-old daughter Adalynn, who's currently in the care of Leah's sister Victoria. The reality star is also the mother to five-year-old twin daughters Ali and Aleeah with former husband Corey Simms, who is threatening to obtain full custody of the girls.
Season six of "Teen Mom 2" will premiere July 9 at 10 p.m. The show also follows stars Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry Marroquin and Chelsea Houska.
