Chris Brown Seizure: ‘Fine China’ Singer’s Health Scare Linked to ‘Non-Stop Negativity, Emotional Stress’

Doctors have said that Chris Brown's seizure is not uncommon and probably won't cause any long-term damage. According to his rep, the singer suffered a nonepileptic seizure (NES) early Friday morning while at a Los Angeles recording studio.

According to US Weekly, the "Fine China" singer's health scare was due to "intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress" his rep said.

"While in the studio working early morning, Chris suffered a nonepileptic seizure (NES)," his rep told US Weekly. "He was not hospitalized. His doctor tended to him this afternoon and attributes the NES to intense fatigue and extreme emotional stress, both due to the continued onslaught of unfounded legal matters and the nonstop negativity."

Brown has been making headlines lately as he battled in court with his neighbors for his wall artwork on his home and for a hit-and-run earlier last month. the singer was jailed involving the car accident, only for 45 minutes, and tweeted after that he was done being in the spotlight and didn't want to be famous anymore hinting that he was ending his music career.

"Don't worry, mainstream America," he posted on Twitter before deleting it. "After this 'X' album, it'll probably be my last album."

"Being famous is amazing when it's for your music and talent," he continued. "I'm tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I'm cool and over it!"

He was probably referring to the 2009 assault incident involving his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown did get some support from Jason Derulo who told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" that he felt for the singer and understood how the pressures of being famous can get to someone.

"I just think there's a lot of pressure in the public eye and times can get really get rough for any performer," Derulo said. "So keep him in your prayers and hope for the best for him."

Following the seizure the "Look At Me" singer did get an outpouring of support from fans and girlfriend Karrueche Tran who posted on Twitter asking people to pray for him. Brown tweeted: "They won't love u until u r a memory..."

His new album "X" is scheduled to be released Aug. 26.
