Sarah Jessica Parker is known for her style as Carrie Bradshaw on "Sex and The City." Her hair, outfits and shoes, especially, were iconic, but there were times when Parker wasn't that pleased with the looks she was given.
In the most recent episode of "Timeless, Time Warm or Time to Hide," Yahoo Style editor in chief Joe Zee spoke with Parker and her hairstylist, Serge Normant, to discuss all of her famous hairstyles over the years.
From braids to bobs to so many curls, we'd seen it all on Carrie Bradshaw. There's one particular style, though, that Parker personally hated, and this was her shortest length.
"Serge cut it off for 'Sex and the City,'" the 50-year-old style icon said. "That's maybe time to be forgotten and to never be discussed again!"
She swears this is not the "best representation of his work," but she's kept him around for so long because pretty much everything else he's ever done to her hair has been brilliant.
Now, you can have your hair done by the man responsible for Parker's gorgeous dos. Serge has opened a salon in New York City at 336 West 23rd St. It has three stories and is filled with all the products Parker swears by. Julianne Moore and Julia Roberts are also very loyal clients of his.
"It's official! Celebrating our dear friend and extraordinary hairstylist @sergenormant's new salon, Serge Normant at John Frieda on 23rd Street in NYC!" Parker captioned a picture of her and her stylist. "So many people there to celebrate because we love him so. X, Sj."
