Professional boxer Adam "Lights Out" Little, who boasts of a 12-0 record, found out he was no match for tiny blonde Kiah Kuzan after she knocked him out with a single punch on New Year's Eve.
Little, who was trained by former two-weight boxing champion Ricky Hatton, became the object of Kuzan's ire when a brawl erupted at The Stables Bar in Kirkham, Lancashire. The fight, which was said to have started in the men's room, ended up with Kuzan's boyfriend getting kicked out of the bar before Little had the chance to inform the bar staff that the man was not involved.
Thinking the boxer was responsible for having her boyfriend thrown out, the petite mother of one punched Little in the mouth and knocked his lights out. A few hours later, she sent him a message in Facebook with her picture and the words "Good luck in your career," according to Mirror.
The attack left the boxer with a shattered front tooth and a broken tooth. Another tooth was pushed backwards by Kuzan's blow.
Little and Kuzan had a rematch in a London courtroom Thursday, and this time the boxer enjoyed his victory as the court sentenced Kuzan to eight weeks in prison, which was suspended. She was also told not to show her face in public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for four weeks. She was asked to pay $1,200 for damages to Little's teeth.
Kuzan admitted in court that she mistakenly thought the boxer had her boyfriend thrown out that's why she attacked him.
"She had no intention of injuring him in this way," her lawyer Michael Ball told the court, The Daily Mail reported.
Ball tried to settle for a lesser amount for the damages to the boxer's teeth.
"As a professional boxer of some repute, he may have had some previous damage to his teeth anyway," he reasoned, but his request was not granted.
