’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie Cast: Hollywood Writer Bret Easton Ellis Knows Who Christian Grey Is, Says Actor Is an Obvious Choice; Could It Be Matt Bomer or Henry Cavill?

Hollywood writer Bret Easton Ellis knows who Christian Grey is. According to Refinery 29, Ellis teased that he knows who E.L. James has as her top choice to play the kinky billionaire and he hinted the choice is obvious.

Ellis was at one point a contender to write the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" but was beat out by Kelly Marcel. According to several reports he was pissed about this but has moved on enough to give some major insight about who the actor could be.

"I know who her number one choice for Christian Grey is, thought," Ellis told Refinery 29. "She is never going to get him. He has dark hair. Of course, that's what she wants... Okay, I can say this: Think of the most obvious, fitting choice. It's right in front of your face. I can't say anything."

This is the second big piece of news "Fifty Shades" fans have received. Over the weekend, E.L. James tweeted a response to a fan about the movie. The fan asked her if the movie would be shot in London and the UK and she said "it was highly unlikely."

That means that the movie could be filmed in the U.S. or maybe Canada, where a lot of films are shot. That also raised a couple eyebrows about a recent casting call reportedly from "Team 50" and Focus Features looking for Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.

In the casting call it said that the actors chosen need to be available to shoot in London and the U.K. but if James' tweet indicates that it won't be filmed overseas then the casting call could be a fake. As far as Eliis' comments on Christian Grey, they're very vague but could mean Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill and possibility Ian Somerhalder could land the part.

Either way hopefully some official casting news will be revealed soon. Who do you think E.L. James' top choice for Christian Grey is?
