For such a young star, it may seem like Kylie Jenner is living the high life because of her family's fame and success, but Kylie is actually a very responsible 17-year-old.
Kylie had to build her own empire and work on her own business endeavors in order to keep up with her expensive taste and luxurious lifestyle because her mom, Kris Jenner, stopped giving her money around the age of 14, InStyle UK reported.
"My mom [Kris Jenner] cut me off financially three years ago so I pay for everything-my car, my gas and food as well as my clothes," she revealed. "There are so many outfits I bought in the past that I just think now are NOT cute-but there's not very much I can do about it!"
As the youngest in the family, she is already a millionaire, according to the Huffington Post. She drives a $125,000 Mercedes SUV, and recently bought herself a $2.5 million house.
Kylie does not just earn her money from being one of the stars on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She is also the brand ambassador for Nip + Fab skincare, has a clothing collection at PacSun, and has her own hair extension line, Us Weekly stated.
She may have a very luxurious lifestyle, but material things don't mean everything to her.
"I'm not materialistic," she told Fault magazine in March. "I love clothes and all that stuff, but I don't need it to live. I feel like, not that I've had everything, but once you feel you've had everything at a young age, you can either go down a path of being spoiled and self-centered, or you see it isn't everything."
