Finally, the Duggars have a reason to celebrate.
After a two-week absence from social media Jill Duggar and her husband, Derick Dillard, both took to Instagram on Saturday to celebrate their son Israel's two-month birthday.
The new mommy posted an adorable photo of Israel wearing a "2 MONTHS" T-shirt, with the caption, "Happy 2 month birthday #IsraelDavidDillard! We are so blessed to be your parents! May you grow up to love Jesus and serve others! #2monthbirthday @derickdillard."
Dillard shared the same photo of his son, with the caption, "We are so blessed to be this little guy's parents! Happy 2 month birthday Israel! May you continue to grow both in stature and in favor with the Lord and also with man. #israeldaviddillard #jillmdillard #2months."
The couple's fans and followers also shared well wishes for the newborn.
The two have found a reason to celebrate in the midst of their very public family drama surround "19 Kids and Counting" star Josh Duggar, who admitted to molesting five young girls when he was 14 years old.
Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, sat down with Fox News' Megyn Kelly last week to talk about their son's actions. Jill and her younger sister Jessa Duggar - both girls have been named as two of the five victims in Josh's case - also spoke about in defense of their brother's actions.
"We didn't choose to come out and tell our story," shared Jill, while Jessa nodded in agreement, saying, "But now that this story has been brought about, we really feel like we've been seeing these headlines, we feel like, as victims, we have to come out and speak. This is something that we chose to do. Nobody asked us to do this. Most of the stuff out there is lies. It's not true. And so for truth's sake we want to set the record straight."
