The 2015 NBA Finals continue Tuesday with Game 3 between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tipoff is at 9 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream - or listen to the radio broadcast - below.
Cleveland weathered a near rally from Golden State in the waning minutes of overtime in Sunday's Game 2 and escaped with a 95-93 victory. Without Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, the onus was on four-time MVP LeBron James to produce. And produce he did, to the tune of 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists.
"I tried to give it all to my teammates. And they do a great job of giving it back to me. Total team effort," an exhausted James told the Associated Press after the game. "To be back in the same position we were in three days ago and to come back and even the series is big time."
Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov added 17 points and 11 rebounds, and guard J.R. Smith, who showed improvement from Game 1, chipped in with 13 points.
Warriors guard Klay Thompson led Golden State with 34 points, and star Stephen Curry, who looked off for most of the night, finished with 19 points on 5-of-23 shooting. Afterwards, Curry was quick to dismiss the idea that his fall in the previous series had anything to do with his poor shooting.
"Shots I normally make I knew as soon as they left my hand that they were off. That doesn't usually happen," Curry said. "Mechanically, I don't know if there is an explanation for it. Just didn't have a rhythm and didn't find one the whole game."
