Australia won Test 1 last week by nine wickets, with Adam Voges earning the Man of the Match award for his 130-run (not out) performance in the first innings.
"It has been a perfect three days," Voges said afterwards, according to CricBuzz.com. "To get a chance to play for Australia was a great moment. It was an all-round effort. The boys did well to restrict them and then the tailenders supported me."
Australia's bowling was instrumental in the win, managing to restrict the West Indies batsmen quickly in both innings.
"They (Australia's bowlers) found a way to take wickets on a wicket that was really slow and hard work for the fast bowlers," said Australia skipper Michael Clarke. "West Indies deserve a lot of credit, but our bowlers just stuck at it, nice and patient. The fielding throughout the game was really good and with the way Warner and Marsh went about the chase, is the way we like to play cricket. We need to be aggressive in the second Test as well."
The West Indies will look for a better performance on offense in Test 2, following having only two players - Marlon Samuels's 74 runs and Shane Dowrich's 70, both in the second innings - break the half-century mark in either inning.
