Week 15 of the NFL season saw multiple teams lose players to injuries, and three players in particular standout from the list. Below are the latest updates on Tennessee Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy, and New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola.

Titans QB Marcus Mariota - The Titans franchise quarterback suffered a right knee injury against the New England Patriots on Sunday and was unable to return. The injury is reportedly believed to be an MCL injury and Mariota is expected to get an MRI on Monday, according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. The Titans fell to 3-11 on the season in a loss to the Patriots, 33-16, and some would think it wise to rest the future of the franchise down the stretch. There are only two games left in the regular season, and Mariota has already proven to be worth the second pick in the 2015 NFL Draft with his play this year.

Bills RB LeSean McCoy - Buffalo fell to 6-8 on the year with their loss to the Washington Redskins on Sunday 35-25, and star running back LeSean McCoy was ruled out of the game after suffering a knee injury. McCoy went down holding his knee after catching a check-down from quarterback Tyrod Taylor. The Bills lead running back reportedly has a minor MCL sprain and is considered day-to-day, according to NFL reporter Rand Getlin. The Bills have been eliminated from the playoffs after losing Sunday, making it 16 straight seasons without reaching the postseason. Running back Mike Gillislee filled in for McCoy and was productive, rushing for 81 yards on four carries.

Patriots WR Danny Amendola - New England held onto first place in the AFC playoff picture with the win over the Titans, but lost another crucial piece, as Amendola went out with a knee injury in the second quarter. He would not return. Amendola was injured on a punt return in a non-contact play. The Patriots wideout previously injured the same knee earlier this season, which caused him to miss the game against the Denver Broncos. Amendola only managed one catch on the day, and wide receiver Keshawn Martin stepped up in his absence with three catches for 26 yards. New England wide reciever Julian Edelman reportedly has a good chance to return by week 17, and head coach Bill Belichick may choose to play it safe and rest Amendola for, or until, the postseason.
