According to The Guardian's latest report, Rishi Sunak is prepared to provide any support to all British citizens who are affected by the Israel-Gaza war.

He said this during his visit to Staffordshire on Tuesday, Oct. 10. The prime minister told U.K. residents that he strongly supports Israel in the ongoing conflict with Gaza.

Aside from this, he promised that he would ensure that all his people would feel safe during the barbaric acts of terrorism. Sunak confirmed that police officials were already given clear guidance and advice on how they can keep the community safe.

On the other hand, the U.K. prime minister condemned those who support Hamas, saying that law enforcement officers will clamp down on any act that "falls foul of the law."

"People should not be supporting Hamas and we will make sure that we hold people to account if they are," said the British leader.

Previously, U.K. officials confirmed that some Britons were caught up in the violence in Israel and Gaza. However, the exact number of victims has not yet been identified.

Because of this, Sunak wants to reassure their families that the U.K. government is doing its best to protect Britons suffering in Israel and Gaza.

"I want to reassure them we're doing everything we can, working very closely with the Israeli authorities to establish what is happening on the ground, provide support to people where it's needed," said Rishi Sunak.

Independent UK reported that other British ministers also condemned Hamas supporters in the United Kingdom.

They shared their statements after many British Hamas supporters were spotted glorifying acts of terrorism.

For example, Manchester Friends of Palestine President Dana Abuqamar said that they are full of pride after the October 7 Hamas attack in Israel.

During her recent interview, the Hamas supporter stated that they were proud that Palestinian resistance "has come to this point."

When U.K. shadowing policy minister Chris Philp learned about the statement of Abuqamar, he was really disappointed. The British official said that he was appalled to see people hold such "repugnant views."
