The Memphis Police Department responded to a call on Monday just after 9:00 p.m. to reports of a shooting at Church's Chicken, a fast food restaurant on Park Avenue in Orange Mound.

It allegedly all started after a woman in a teal compact SUV started arguing with the employee while at the drive-thru window.

Shortly after, the employee stepped outside "to get some air" when a shot rang out, according to Fox 13 News.

She was rushed to a hospital in critical condition, where she later died, said police.

Law enforcement is still looking for the suspect caught on the footage, as no arrests have been made yet.

The details of the altercation remain unclear.
