Authorities are searching for a woman accused of fatally ramming her Los Angeles boyfriend with a pickup truck and leaving his dead body in the street.

Erika Zimmerman, 37, is wanted on a charge of murder in connection with the death of Louie Martin Cervantes, 46, according to the sheriff's department.

In April, the couple were believed to be involved in a domestic dispute in L.A. County, when Cervantes was struck and killed by a pickup truck allegedly driven by Zimmerman. It's unclear what led to the dispute.

Shortly after the incident, deputies announced a woman by the name of "Erika" was wanted for questioning.

On Monday, the LASD officially identified Zimmerman as the murder suspect in Cervantes' slaying.

Zimmerman is described as a white female with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot 3-inches tall and 140 lbs.

Anyone with information on Zimmerman's whereabouts is urged to contact LASD detectives at (323) 890-5500.
