Hannah Anderson reportedly logged into a social media account less than 48 hours after being rescued from her captor in Idaho, giving the public possible insight to the 16-year-old's current mental state.
The kidnapping victim was returned home on Saturday, after a six-day manhunt for her abductor James Lee DiMaggio, 40, ended when FBI officials shot and killed him in the Idaho wilderness. DiMaggio allegedly murdered Anderson's mother and 8-year-old brother on Aug. 5.
Anderson reportedly went online to answer questions about her experiences within the last week. Her posts on alleged ask.fm social-networking site account for "Hannahbanana722", came after her father, Brett Anderson, asked the media to respect their privacy during this difficult time, according to the Associated Press.
The Andersons have not confirmed the account belongs to Hannah, and neither have the police.
On the alleged night of the murder and kidnapping, DiMaggio reportedly invited the children and their mother to his home.
"He told us he was losing his house because of money issues so we went up there one last time to support him, and to have fun riding go karts up there but he tricked us," Anderson wrote, according to the Associated Press.
Anderson also recounted details of Monday's events, saying DiMaggio tied up his mother and brother in his garage. Their bodies were found later in the ruins of DiMaggio's burnt home.
"I wish I could go back in time and risk my life to try and save theirs. I will never forgive myself for not trying harder to save them," Anderson posted. (View slide show for more posts from Hannah's alleged account.)
Anderson declined requests from reporters for an interview about the events.
The 16-year-old also received support from all over the world, sending their thoughts and well wishes, telling the teenager her story touched their hearts and they are glad she returned home safely.
