’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie Cast: Ryan Gosling a Top Contender to Play Christian Grey, Amanda Seyfried Chooses Who She Would Pick as the Kinky Billionaire, Anastasia Steele (VIDEO)

If Amanda Seyfried was casting the movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" who do you think she would pick to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele? MTV UK caught up with the actress as she was promoting her new movie "Lovelace" and asked her who her favorites are.

Without hesitation she said "Alice in Wonderland" actress Mia Wasikowska as Steele and after a slight hesitation Ryan Gosling as the kinky billionaire.

"They'd be great, wouldn't they?" she said.

Seyfried has also been a rumored name to star in the movie as the shy, college student. She didn't mention anything about playing in the movie to MTV but according to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, fan-favorite Ian Somerhalder had once said that he would love to see the actress as Steele... opposite himself.

That was, of course, before he found out that he was not going to be considered for the role. According to US weekly, a source revealed that E.L. James was at a San Diego Comic-Con party telling everyone that the "Vampire Diaries" star wasn't being considered for the role. Reportedly the role of Christian Grey was offered to Garrett Hedlnd but he turned it down because of scheduling conflicts.

Still in the running to play the BDSM obsessed billionaire is Matt Bomer and Henry Cavill. Both actors have spoken out about the role. During a radio interview, Cavill said he would have no problem trading in his cape for handcuffs and didn't think his highly successful role as Superman would interfere if he was cast as Grey.

"As an actor I don't think it should stop me from doing roles which may be great stories," he said. "I'm very much a story teller, I enjoy telling stories and if there is a wonderful story to tell than I don't think having played the role of Superman will necessarily stop me from telling that story."

Bomer told Metro, a British newspaper that at first he didn't want to talk about the role but changed his mind.

"[It's] very flattering that I've got fans who would like to see me in things," the "White Collar" actor said.

As far as Anastasia Steele, Alexis Bledel, Lucy Hale and Emilia Clarke remain as top contenders
