’50 Shades of Grey’ Movie Cast: E.L. James, Michel De Luca To Meet in Los Angeles? Henry Cavill and Matt Bomer Remain As Christian Grey Favorites

E. L. James' twitter page has to be one the most watched social media accounts. In the past the "Fifty Shades of Grey" author has teased fans about the highly anticipated movie and she often uses her account to announce important "Fifty Shades" news.

James recently responded to a tweet from producer Michael De Luca who said he was returning to Los Angeles. She tweeted to him letting him know that she would see him in Los Angeles next week. Now this may seem unimportant but for all the fans that have patiently waited and waited for official news on who will play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele this simple tweet could mean that casting news could be happening soon.

The author and Team 50" might have to hurry up and make a decision regarding the lead roles after an interview with "Crossfire" writer Sylvia Day. While talking about her popular romance novel "Bared to You" which has been given the green light for a television series, said she wants Henry Cavill to play her sexy billionaire Gideon Cross.

The "Man of Steel" actor has been a rumored top contender to play the kinky billionaire in "Fifty Shades of Grey" since casting rumors began. There's been no mention whether producers or James have even considered him for the role.

In an interview he said that he hasn't been approached by anyone but he was open to playing Grey.

"As an actor I don't think it should stop me from doing roles which may be great stories," Cavill said in the interview. "I'm very much a storyteller, I enjoy telling stories and if there is a wonderful story to tell than I don't think having played the role of Superman will necessarily stop me from telling that story. The chances are it will very much be a different vehicle than what Superman is, so it won't damage any of that character...because they'll see two very different things on screen."

"White Collar" star Matt Bomer has also been a fan-favorite to play the lead role as well. The two actors have been compared to Hollywood starlets like Alexis Bledel, Emilia Clarke and Lucy Hale. Recently Lilly Collins starred in a fan-made trailer with Bomer. Collins name was mentioned to play Anastasia Steele in the beginning of casting rumors but she hasn't received that much buzz.

Do you think E.L. James' tweet about meeting with Michael De Luca in LA could mean official casting news soon?
