Earlier today, Jimmy Fallon had minor surgery on his hand and he has finally revealed exactly what happened.
Although the 40-year-old talk show host had to cancel tonight's taping of the "Tonight Show," Fallon took to Twitter to make sure his fans knew he was okay, according to People.
The series of, most likely drug-induced, tweets all started with a photo of his hand wrapped up and the words "Tweeting with one hand."
He then followed it up by finally explaining what had happened Thursday night. "Tripped and caught my fall (good thing)! Ring caught on side of table and almost ripped my finger off (bad thing)," he wrote.
Another tweet, confirming his condition, read, "#drugged #blessed." And then the final one was to let his fans know he was doing okay. "I'm doing well," he wrote. "And thanks for good wishes everyone."
Although the "Tonight Show" official Twitter confirmed that he was fine following the surgery this morning, it was still comforting for fans to hear it directly from him!
