Natalie Dormer Joins 'The Hungers Games: Mockingjay' Cast; 'Games of Thrones' Actress To Play Cressida

"Game of Thrones" actress Natalie Dormer will join Jennifer Lawrence and the rest of the cast for the "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay."

As if fans weren't excited enough for the release of "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" in November, the movie series took to their official Facebook page to confirm Dormer will play Cressida, a director from the Capital who helps Katniss in the rebel uprising.

"Dormer is one of the hottest actresses on the scene right now. She portrays Margaery Tyrell in HBO's Game of Thrones and will be seen in Ron Howard's Rush this September as well as in Ridley Scott's The Counselor in October," USA Today reports.

According to the Wall Street Journal, "Mockingjay Part 1" will be released on Nov. 21, 2014 and the second part will premiere Nov. 20, 2015.

Until the release of "Catching Fire," Lionsgate is slowly revealing new posters of the Victors participating in the Quarter Quell, a quarter-annual competition where Hunger Games winners fight to the death. The next victor will be revealed on Friday at 6 p.m.

On Aug. 26, fans will be able to enjoy the release of Grammy-winning band Coldplay's new single for the film tilted "Atlas" for "Catching Fire."

"I have great respect and admiration for Coldplay, and we are thrilled with how well they have connected to the themes and ideas within the film," 'Catching Fire' director Francis Lawrence said in a statement to MTV. "Their unwavering passion and excitement for the project elevated the collaboration even further, and we can't wait to share this music with audiences around the world."

"The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is will be released to U.S. theaters on Nov. 22.
