Kentucky Mother of 5 Missing; $71,000 Reward Offered for Information on Her Whereabouts

Crystal Rogers, a mother of five from Bardstown, Ky., has been missing for almost two weeks. She was last seen on July 3 by her live-in boyfriend Brooks Houck, with whom she shares a 2-year-old son.

According to Houck, Rogers stayed up late that night playing games on her phone. When he woke up the next day, she was already gone, Daily Mail online reports.

Houck reportedly did not look for Rogers right away because she would often spend the night at her cousin's house whenever they had issues in their relationship, sometimes staying away for up to one and a half days. He called her on the morning of July 4 before leaving for a get-together.

Rogers' sister Brooke Ballard believes Houck is not telling the truth.

"You just don't go to bed one night and not know she's gone and then not worry when she left the baby," she said, according to ABC News. Ballard also said Houck has not offered help in the search, nor has he helped the family in any way.

However, Houck maintained his innocence, saying he was "100 percent completely honest with everyone" in an interview with HLN on Thursday.

"I've been 100 percent cooperative in everything that has been asked of me. I'm 100 percent completely innocent in this and I have exhausted my efforts with the law enforcement agencies to gather all the facts necessary to allow me to have a clean name again," Houck said in the interview.

Authorites have not named Houck as one of the suspects in the case. They also said he had been cooperative in the investigation, Fox News reports.

Houck took a lie detector test but the results were inconclusive.

On July 6, investigators found Rogers' abandoned Chevy Impala near the Bluegrass Parkway. It had a flat tire. Her phone, keys and purse were inside.

Rogers' family is leading a search encompassing a 20-mile radius around the town.

"We're searching every road, every ditch line, wells, sink holes on properties," said Sam Johnson, Rogers' great uncle, according to Fox News.

Around 100 people from Bardstown, even those who did not know Rogers, have joined in the search.

A $71,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can give details on her whereabouts. Police advice anyone with relevant information to contact Nelson County Sheriff's Department.
