Just a little over a month after completing 30 days in rehab, Nicholas Brendon has checked himself back in.
On June 2, the 44-year-old "Buffy" star checked himself into a California rehab facility for depression, alcoholism and substance abuse after several brushes with the law. Earlier this month, he even made a public plea to get help for his depression but apparently, this wasn't enough for the actor because just last week he returned to a facility, according to The Daily Mail.
This all follows news of another incident where police found him bleeding in an alley on July 3 after getting into an argument with a woman in her apartment and smashing a window with his bare hands, TMZ reported. He bolted from the scene of the crime only to have firefighters respond and find him later on. He was sent to a hospital, but did not get arrested. Just three days later, he had checked himself back into rehab.
On July 7, a friend of Brendon's posted a message to his Facebook explaining the news. "Nick would like to thank you all for the tremendous amount of love and support throughout these tumultuous times," the post read. "After days of trying, Nicholas was finally able to enter an inpatient facility earlier today to address the issues that he's been fighting. Nick is especially grateful for the hundreds of letter from his fans and supporters, and says they've given him moments of solace and reflection as he navigated the path toward treatment."
The post then noted that they will not be posting anything else until he is well enough to post an update himself.
