Jenny McCarthey is following the popular pink hair trend going on right now and has chosen a super bright and bold shade! While on the Today show Tuesday morning with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford, the 42-year-old actress debuted a bright, magenta hairdo.
"This morning I woke up and I said, 'I'm feeling pink!" she told the hosts, according to People.
She also went on to reveal that it is a permanent dye and will not be going anywhere soon, as this has always been a part of her bucket list
"There's [always] bleach!" she added. "I'm very much about the present moment. This is something I've wanted to do forever, but I've always been told by networks and bosses, 'Don't do it.' But you know what, before I'm 90-like Barbara Walters isn't going to dye her hair this color! I'm still at that age where I can get away with it for like a month."
Her husband Donnie Wahlberg loves the new hair.
"I showed him this morning quickly and he's like, 'You look beautiful,'" McCarthy said.
She first teased us with a very close up selfie on Instagram, slightly showing off the pink locks:
"No #DSF on @siriusxm today. Tune into the @todayshow with @klgandhoda though. I've got something to show you! #donnielovesjenny."
She then shared another photo of her bright hair in full view, and she looked absolutely stunning.
"Thank you to my amazing hair & makeup team this morning!" she wrote.
