Hoda Kotb, co-host of NBC's "The Today Show" alongside Kathie Lee Gifford, will be releasing her third inspirational book just six months from now.
The 50-year-old morning show host will release "Where They Belong: The Best Decisions People Almost Never Made" on Jan. 5, 2016. It will be a selection of inspiring stories of people who have "found themselves" in unexpected moments, according to "Today." It will range from heartwarming stories to heartbreaking stories and each character will eventually find their way to something greater in life, more than they ever believed was possible. It will share examples of perseverance, self-reflection and new attitudes on life as it motivates readers to find the right path on their personal journey.
Kotb is also the author of two other inspirational books, "Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee" and "Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives." Her first book was released six years ago, which was just three years after she was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2007.
She wanted to inspire other breast cancer survivors and help people who went through what she went through. "If you survive breast cancer, it could be the best thing that happened to you," she told Cancer Connect about why she chose to write her first book. "Because suddenly you are empowered; because you have strength now; because you realize that your life has margins...it's to be valued and not wasted."
