Warning: The following contains possible spoilers for season six of "The Walking Dead."
Season six of AMC's "The Walking Dead" is still filming, but some recent reports suggest an explosive and destructive scene that could be very important.
The Spoiling Dead Fans reported of a "rocket launcher being used inside Alexandria resulting in a possible cast death." While this is unconfirmed, it is true that AMC crews blocked off the Alexandria set for an important scene during filming yesterday, which is not the network's standard operating procedure. AMC has routinely let die-hard fans bring personal cameras and cell phones near on-site shooting locations.
Design & Trend reports that the Alexandria set was under attack by a swarm of unknown enemies during a previous shoot. One can safely assume that these recent developments prove critical in season six's storyline.
False death rumors are common place when it comes to characters on "The Walking Dead." But the amount of secrecy surrounding these particular happenings seems to suggest something a bit more concrete.
What exactly happens in the Alexandria community this season and who specifically it impacts is unknown. What is known is that "Walking Dead" fans should be excited for the show's return in October.
