Miley Cyrus VMA 2013: Kelly Osbourne Tells Twerking Singer to 'Put Your F--king Tongue in Your Mouth,' Collab With Britney Spears Confirmed

Miley Cyrus left quite the impression on viewers during her MTV Video Music Award performance, and people won't stop talking about the 'We Can't Stop' singer's odd dance moves and tongue habits.

Kelly Osbourne offered her friend Miley Cyrus a piece of advice during E!'s Fashion Police on Monday.

"Look, Miley's my friend and I love her, and I have her back no matter what, but as her friend I'm going to tell her - put your f--king tongue in your mouth! I love you, but just put your tongue in your mouth," Osbourne said.

Many agree with Osbourne, and some are begging Miley to stop "twerking" as well.

No one is exactly sure why Miley went in the direction she did for her VMA performance. From her Teddy Bear jumpsuit to her now Internet infamous "rubber granny panties," viewers found her overtly raunchy performance unsexy and just plain bizarre. (Click here for celebrity reaction photos)

Even those who enjoyed Miley's performance know they are in the minority, and can barely defend her actions. The question remains, what does Miley think of the backlash she is receiving?

Well, the singer has yet to answer, but Miley did post a photo of herself wearing a Michael Jordan inspired crop top and shorts. Wonder if that's a cryptic message to those throwing negativity her way?

However you may look at the situation, Miley is receiving attention and her singles are being purchased. The shock value from her VMA performance is the real winner, and Miley doesn't seem to be slowing down.

Producer Sean Garrett confirmed a collaboration between Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus on his Twitter account. And if you recall, Spears also knows what it feels like to receive backlash for a VMA performance.

Spears' three-way girl kiss with Madonna and Christina Aguilera made headlines for weeks; the same comments being made towards Miley, Spears also received.
