Kate Upton and Makism Chmerkovskiy have been a rumored item after the pair was spotted holding hands at a New York City movie premiere. According to the New York Post, Upton and Chmerkovskiy tried to dodge photographers but apparently were comfortable enough to show a little affection.
Now it seems like things are really heating up between the two. According to the Daily News, the "Dancing with the Stars" pro introduced that blonde bombshell to his family at a wedding anniversary. Chmerkovskiy attended the 35th wedding anniversary and 55th birthday party of his godmother, Jana Volynets and took Upton as his date.
"The duo were guests at an all-white party held by his Godmother, Jana Volynets, and her daughter, Nicole Volynets," a source told the newspaper. Afterwards the two went to a party at the popular Little Italy hangout Goldbar. An insider told the newspaper that there was definite PDA between Upton and Chmerkovskiy.
The "Sports Illustrated" model opened up about her dating life to Elle magazine saying that she wasn't in a serious relationship and she was "just having fun."
"I really have never had a serious relationship in the industry," she said. "I'm just having fun. Obviously I have a very busy schedule at this time in my life, and I don't put relationships as a priority."
She also told the magazine that she often gets tired of the kind of guys that approach her.
"Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something," she said. "I'm not a toy; I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your shit out."
