Kate Middleton made her first post-baby public appearance with husband Prince William at the ultra marathon on Anglesey.
Prince George did not make an appearance at the event, but the happy couple's attendance was a great surprise for the crowd. William had the honor of starting the three-day, 135-mile coastal run, according to BBC News.
The couple has lived in Anglesey since 2009 while Prince William has worked as an RAF search and rescue helicopter pilot, but recently announced their family would be moving during the The Anglesey Show.
The show is a two-day agricultural event in North Wales, which also marked Prince William's first official public appearance since the birth of baby George, the Daily Mail reports. William spoke to the Anglesey crowd about the big move:
"I know that I speak for Catherine when I say that I have never in my life known somewhere as beautiful and as welcoming as Anglesey. The views across the Menai Straits are undoubtedly among the most stunning in the British Isles. I know that both of us will miss it terribly when my Search and Rescue tour of duty comes to an end next month and we have to move elsewhere. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making my wife and me so welcome when we arrived here, as you do thousands of visitors each year. This island has been our first home together, and it will always be an immensely special place for us both. Catherine and I look forward to returning again and again over the coming years with our family."
At the Anglesey show, Prince William told reporters Baby George was "loud, but good looking" and what it is like being a new father.
"I have to say that I thought Search and Rescue duties over Snowdonia were physically and mentally demanding, but looking after a three week-old baby is up there!" William told the Daily Mail.
