Joe Jackson Stroke: Father Of Michael Jackson Reportedly Suffered Stroke After Celebrating 87th Birthday

Joe Jackson has reportedly suffered a stroke that has rendered him temporarily blind.

Sources from the Jackson family camp say that Jackson was admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital in Sao Paulo, Brazil, after he woke up feeling dizzy and having no vision, TMZ reported.

Doctors at the hospital are currently doing several tests on the Jackson family patriarch and the family is still discussing on whether or not to fly him back to the U.S. for further treatment, the source says.

The father of late singer-songwriter Michael Jackson was in town to celebrate his 87th birthday and was pictured partying with one of the artists he was managing, 26-year-old French singer Angelina Stilitti, according to the Daily Mail.

This would not be the first time that Jackson has suffered a stroke - he had suffered a mild stroke in November 2012. At the time, he complained about pains in his head as well as difficulties in standing up and was under observation at a hospital in Las Vegas, according to US Weekly.
