At the conclusion of their worldwide tour in support of their Grammy-winning album "Cheek to Cheek," Lady Gaga surprised Tony Bennett with a massive birthday cake and a special serenade in honor of his upcoming 89th birthday.
The 29-year-old singer-songwriter sang Duke Ellington's "I'm Beginning To See The Light" to Bennett and led the crowd at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. in singing "Happy Birthday" to the jazz singer, according to People.
Gaga posted a photo of the lavish cake on Twitter with the caption: "Tony doesn't check the internet too much so I wanted to show you the surprise we got him for tonight's final show!"
The white, multi-tiered gift resembles that of a wedding cake due to the two figurines placed in the middle of the cake that were modeled after Gaga and Bennett, according to the Daily Mail.
After the tour, the "Applause" singer will be gearing up for the new season of the FX anthology series "American Horror Story: Hotel," which will premiere in October.
