Rahart Adams has spent the last two years working non-stop on TV shows in the United States and Australia, and he's in need of a little break, even if it's just for a couple days.
"I think a nice little break with the family and friends is definitely in the cards," Adams told Headlines & Global News in an exclusive interview.
The 19-year-old actor certainly deserves it. Leaving his native Australia, he traveled to Miami to join the cast of Nickelodeon's "Every Witch Way" as Jax Novoa in its second season. Then Adams would jet back home nearly 10,000 miles to continue shooting the Aussie show "Nowhere Boys." He's now finishing production on a "Nowhere Boys" movie.
After moving to America alone, his "Every Witch Way" cast mates quickly became his second family, and it was no easy task to say goodbye when they wrapped production on the show in early July.
"Last day on set was very bittersweet for me," Adams said. "You spend an entire year, day in and day out, almost every waking second with a whole bunch of people that end up becoming your family. So it was really sad leaving them."
Adams is most excited for Nickelodeon fans to see their favorite stars from "Every Witch Way" and "Bella and the Bulldogs" in the same movie, and teases that the movie is "something that the fans wouldn't necessarily expect."
Once he finishes work on the "Nowhere Boys" movie, Adams has plans to move back to the United States full-time. He's very proud of the work he's done so far in his short career and looks forward to growing more as an actor and a person.
"I've learned so much," he said. "I feel I've only touched the tip of the iceberg in terms of where I want to be. This is only the beginning for me."
