NBA 2K14: The Top 3 Players to Use in This Year's Game

The new signature skills coming to “NBA 2K14” along with the new upgrades on defense and offense will no doubt make the game much more fun. In the spirit of that fun, here the top three players that will be enjoyable to use in “NBA 2K14”:

No. 1—LeBron James

This is probably the easiest one out of the three since he’ll most likely have a 99 rating and a gazillion signature skills. The fun in using LeBron is not to just spam him by running to the basket and trying to dunk on everyone. The enjoyment lies in the thinking that goes into maneuvering him on the court. You can decide to let him run the point. You can literally place him at any position and test your post skills on guys like Kendrick Perkins and Tyson Chandler. You can take him to the top of the key and try getting past defenders like Tony Allen and Iman Shumpert as you try to drive and kick it to Ray Allen for a three. The offensive arsenal that is LeBron James, will make your “NBA 2K14” experience ridiculously amusing.

No. 2—Derrick Rose

We can assume that Derrick Rose will get at least one of the new signature skills headed to the game, namely “One Man FastBreak.” The new dribbling technology will already make D-Rose a joy to play with as he moves past defenders and, since it’s a video game, show’s now ill effects of knee surgery. However, the One Man Fast Break will allow you to weave your way through defenders and twist your body around a defender for a fancy lay-up as only Derrick Rose can.

No. 3—Ricky Rubio

Using Ricky Rubio will be fun for no other reason than he will be the most adequate user of the “Flashy Passer” Signature Skill. I’m almost positive the Timberwolves point guard averages about two flashy passes per game. The most interesting thing will be to see how creative the developers got with the variety of passes that are available.
