Taylor Swift may be music royalty, but she's not looking to buy a castle for her throne. The pop star swiftly shut down rumors on Tuesday that she was in the market for a 16th century Scottish castle near the family home of her boyfriend Calvin Harris.
Swift used lyrics from her song "New Romantics" to make her point.
"Cause baby I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me" -a line from New Romantics But I'm not actually buying a castle.

The property reportedly eyed by the "Shake It Off" singer was the Tower of Lethendy, worth £4.6million (more than $7.18 million) and located about an hour away from Edinburgh where Harris' family lives, according to Us Weekly. The estate boasts an 18-hole golf course, a pool, tennis courts and eight bedrooms in the main house as well as two gate lodges and two staff cottages.
It's not unprecedented for Swift to buy a home near her boyfriend. She bought a $4.8 million home in Cape Cod, Mass in 2012 near her ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy's family compound in Hyannis Port. She sold the house soon after for $5.7 million.
Harris will soon introduce Swift to his family in Scotland when the couple takes a trip to the U.K., according to Us Weekly. He also recently met her parents Andrea and Scott who think "he's the greatest," a source told Us.
