Fetty Wap Becomes First Rapper To Have First 4 Singles In Billboard's Top 10 Hot Rap Songs

You've probably heard of Fetty Wap by now, and if you haven't, you've definitely heard one of his hit songs not even knowing it was him because they are literally being played everywhere you go. Fetty may be new to the rap scene, but he's already accomplished something no other rapper, not even Jay-Z or Kanye West, has done before.

Fetty's newest single "Again" debuted this week at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot Rap Songs, according to Entertainment Weekly. With "Trap Queen" still on the charts after 15 straight weeks at No. 2, "My Way" ft. Drake at No. 3 and "679" ft. Remy Boyz at No. 5, this makes it his fourth single to land in the top 10, and in the 26 years this chart has been around, no artist has ever done such a thing. What makes this even crazier is his debut album hasn't even been released yet!

When many people first heart "Trap Queen," they thought he was just going to be a one-hit-wonder, but they were wrong. Artists like TI, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, Drake, 2 Chainz, Iggy Azalea and Eminem have all had four top ten rap hits, but they were already well into their career by the time this happened, according to Billboard. At such an early point in his hip-hop career, he's the first to have his first four singles debut in the top 10 of this specific chart. Basically, there has been no other rapper to have such an amazing start to their career.

"Nothing but greatest is coming from this for me," he told Boombox back in February. "I tell everybody ["Trap Queen"] isn't even my best song. This is just the breakout for Fetty Wap. There's going to be a lot more coming."

With his album being released on Sept. 25, hopefully he can continue this streak because he's absolutely dominating.
