Foo Fighters 'Rickroll' Westboro Baptist Church Protestors Outside Concert (VIDEO)

The Westboro Baptist Church - a homophobic hate group known for picketing funerals and public events for attention - protested a Foo Fighters' concert in Kansas City, Miss. on Friday night and the band fired back by jumping on the back of a pickup truck blaring Rick Astley's Rickroll anthem "Never Gonna Give You Up."

The group, led by Dave Grohl, danced to the song as they held up signs that read, "You got Rickroll'd" and "Keep It Clean," according to Consequence of Sound.

Rickrolling started off as a prank many years ago in which people were tricked into clicking Internet links, which unexpectedly lead to Rick Astley's music video, The Huffington Post reported.

This isn't the first time Dave Grohl and company have squared off with the Westboro Baptist Church. In 2011, the W.B.C targeted a Foo Fighters' concert in Kansas City and the band responded by rolling in on a flatbed truck, singing a county song with lyrics such as, "Think I'm in the mood for some hot-man muffins," in front of the protesters, according to Billboard.
