Donald Trump, Megyn Kelly: Twitter War Resumes After Kelly's Return To 'The Kelly File'

Megyn Kelly returned from her vacation and immediately jumped right back into work at her Fox News show "The Kelly File." But the infographic she tweeted reiterating 2016 presidential hopeful Donald Trump's immigration proposals sent him into another Twitter tirade, E! News reported.

"Take a look at @realDonaldTrump's immigration proposals," Kelly tweeted, along with an infographic that spelled out Trump's immigration proposals.

Less than 15 minutes later, Trump fired up his trusty Twitter app and spewed out comment after comment on the Fox anchor's first show back from vacation.

"@megynkelly must have had a terrible vacation, she is really off her game," he tweeted, referencing her interview with civil rights activist and author Cornel West. "Was afraid to confront Dr. Cornel West. No clue on immigration!"

He followed up with an even harsher critique of Kelly's work.

"I liked The Kelly File much better without @megynkelly," Trump wrote. "Perhaps she could take another eleven day unscheduled vacation!"

He then allowed his followers and fans to weigh in and re-tweeted those who agreed with him.

This isn't the first time Trump has been involved in a Twitter feud, and not the first time he's used the social media site to bash Kelly. During the first GOP debate, Kelly confronted Trump about the disrespectful comments he's made toward women in the past. After the debate, Trump took to Twitter and accused Kelly of being unprofessional for being so hard on him, even going as far as blaming her biology, as previously reported by HNGN.

Kelly announced her vacation shortly after the debate, as previously reported by HNGN.
