"The Biggest Loser" will lose its long-time host Alison Sweeney, who has decided to exit the show after hosting for the last 13 seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sweeney joined NBC's weight-loss competition series in 2007 when she succeeded original host Caroline Rhea in season four.
"After an incredible run together, Alison Sweeney will not be returning as host of 'The Biggest Loser' next season," "Biggest Loser" producers said in a statement.
The 38-year-old actress has not commented personally on her leave. She spent Tuesday at Disneyland with her family and took her 6-year-old daughter Megan to the Taylor Swift concert at the Staples Center on Friday night (she and her husband David Sanov also have a 10-year son, Benjamin).
The network has not named her replacement to take over in season 17 and hasn't announced a premiere date either. Production will begin in September, according to E! News.
In addition to hosting "The Biggest Loser," Sweeney is best known for her more than 20 years on "Days of Our Lives."
"The Biggest Loser" recently lost trainer Jillian Michaels prior to season 16. It was Michaels third time leaving the show and she was replaced by Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom.
