"Married to Medicine" star Jill Connors has been arrested for going crazy on her husband, harming herself and then claiming it was him who hurt her.
The arrest took place earlier this month on Aug. 13 when her husband Dr. John Connors saw texts on her phone from another man and asked her about it, wondering if she was cheating, according to TMZ. If she was cheating, John said he would be taking the children.
The police report then explains that this quickly broke out into an argument, which eventually became violent. Apparently, she hit him in the face with a spoon before she started throwing punches and scratching him. The tiny blonde then took a kitchen knife and began cutting herself while screaming "He's cutting me," to try to make it seem as though he was making these marks.
John quickly called the police and the second the cops saw how crazy she was acting, they couldn't believe a word she was saying that he had done the cutting part. "I hit him," she told them when they asked what had happened. "I started it, I know it."
The report also says that John had mild injuries, according to Fox News. He had a swollen lip and a few visible scratches from Jill.
Two of their three children watched the whole thing go down, so she was arrested for domestic violence and cruelty to children, according to Us Weekly. "It all happened so fast," Jill continued to tell the cops. "I don't know how it happened. I do not know where the knife is."
"The family violence charge came from her striking her husband," a rep for the city of Alpharetta, Ga., where it all took place, said. "And giving him visible injuries."
She was released two days later and filed for divorce on Aug. 19.
Jill appeared on the Bravo show "Married to Medicine" as a guest but was cast full time in the third season, which is currently airing. Bravo has not commented on the incident.
