After a much-hyped 30-day countdown, Justin Bieber's official video for his new single "What Do You Mean" will premiere immediately after the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, E! News reported. Bieber announced the official drop with a teaser clip after releasing a lyric video on Friday.
"You got the song and the lyric video," the 21-year-old singer wrote in the caption of the teaser trailer on Instagram. "Now the #whatdoyoumean music video come out on @vevo 11 pm est on sunday after #VMAs. Here is a teaser :) love you guys."
The teaser is edited like a movie trailer and action scenes flashed in and out of the short clip. The opening shot is Bieber's face as he stands before an opening door with a hoodie over his head, asking "You got what's mine?"
The Brad Furman-directed video stars Bieber, actor John Leguizamo and former Victoria's Secret model Xenia Deli, and the teaser also features a quick scene of Bieber and Deli kissing and getting hot and heavy.
Deli and Bieber have been spending time together since she landed the role in his new video, as previously reported by HNGN. The pair was seen out on a romantic date and Bieber serenaded his new leading lady with a piano rendition of the Beatles' "Let It Be."
Bieber is scheduled to perform "What Do You Mean" for the first time live on the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards, airing Sunday Aug. 30 at 9/8c on MTV.
