Samantha Bee will enter the male-dominated field of late night this January on TBS, and to prove she can hold her own against the other hosts, the former "Daily Show" correspondent dropped her set of "10-pound lady balls."
In the first promo for "Full Frontal with Samantha Bee," the comedian admits that many people would focus on that fact that she's a woman when TBS asked her to host a "sharp, topical late-night comedy show." But she has much more to offer than just her sex.
"Watch because of my nuanced perspective on world events, my repartee with newsmakers from across the ideological spectrum and, of course, these... my 10-pound lady balls," she says as a blurry set of testicles drop below her dress' hem line.
Bee joined the "Daily Show" in 2003 and was the longest-serving member of Jon Stewart's "Best F#@king News Team" ever. She brought an incredibly smart and satirical point of view to the show, especially in her field segments.
"Like her fans around the country, we absolutely adore everything about Sam, from her straight-faced sarcasm and ruthless wit to her uncanny ability to mine comedy gold from just about any awkward situation," Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS, said in a statement earlier this year. "After watching Sam's work for years, we knew that her distinctive humor and talent belong at the front of her own show."
The 45-year-old mother of three will also serve as an executive producer on her husband Jason Jones' new TBS series, "The Detour." The show is inspired by the experiences of their family getaways.
"Full Frontal with Samantha Bee" will premiere in January on TBS.
