The 24-year old daughter of Phil Collins with the famous eyebrows, Lily Collins, is more than just a beautiful face and popular actress. USA Today reports that the "Mortal Instruments" star has been named the Most Dangerous Celebrity by software security company McAfee.
Lily recently topped McAfee's list of Most Dangerous Celebrities to Search For in 2013, as her name apparently has a 14.5 percent chance of pulling up results with spam, malware, spyware and viruses. She is followed closely behind Canadian pop-rocker Avril Lavigne, Sandra Bullock and Kathy Griffin, while the only male to make the list was "Mad Men" actor, John Hamm, at No. 8.
Fans searching for the "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" actress may find themselves encountering a variety of "downloads," "free app downloads" and "nude pictures," according to the Los Angeles Times, fake-out websites created by hackers to steal people's personal information.
A recent Facebook hoax claiming that Miley Cyrus had committed suicide in the wake of her 2013 VMAs performance linked to malware, McAfee says, and as the ex-Disney princess has been the subject of much controversy and buzz lately, it makes sense that scammers would use her name to try and lure in potential people to hack.
"Cyber criminals prey on consumers' addiction to breaking news and leverage this behavior to lead them to unsafe sites that can severely infect their computers and devices and steal personal information," Paula Greve, McAfee's director of web security research, said in a statement.
In order to protect against malware, McAfee cautions internet users against sites that prompt them from access before they are able to download anything, as well as any new sites that claim to have "breaking news."
