'Forza Motorsport 6': Magnificent Car Racing That Is Almost True To Life

On September 15, Turn 10 - the Microsoft-owned gaming studio - will unleash Forza Motorsport 6 for Xbox One. Those in the gaming community who were fortunate to test the game before its scheduled release has one thing to say.

It is the best driving game ever.

The first impression that gamers will have as the game begins to roll out of stores is that it is astonishingly realistic. From the details in each of the 460 car kits to the incredible environments of the 26 racing locations, there is scarcely reason to criticize.

This is best demonstrated when driving in the racetrack while it is raining. The splash of raindrops against objects and the windshield are incredibly true to life while the rain puddles are simulated using physically-based 3D.

"Tires will individually hydroplane based on the simulation," Dan Greenwalt, creative director at Turn 10, told Wired.

There is also the higher level of responsiveness, polish and design. It allows for better handling, especially in comparison to the overall sense of incompleteness in Forza 5. Aside from the beautiful 3D visuals, this can be attributed to the significantly improved physics within the game. It is as if the technology developed for the game is aimed at showcasing the Xbox One's graphical prowess, according to The Verge.

There are something in Forza 6 for everyone - from the hardcore racing gamers or those who just simply want to cruise around the tracks with friends. It is featured packed with a huge array of beautiful cars, player modes and playing hours that the game is like a car porn for the automobile obsessed, noted IGN.

Forza Motorsport 6 will retail at $60, $80 and $100. The pricing variants depend on the car packs that buyers would like to download each month and the VIP status option, which lets players level up faster, among other perks.
