The beta will include two missions, including "Walker Assault on Hoth," a 40-player battle that takes place between the Rebels and the Empire, "Survival Mission on Tatooine," which pits the Rebels against an onslaught of Imperial troops, and a mode not featured in previous Battlefront games called "Drop Zone," according to Screen Rant. EA also stated that Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are playable characters in "Walker Assault on Hoth."
The Battlefront companion app for iOS and Android, which allows players to view in-game stats and players and play a mini-game that unlocks items in Battlefront, will also be included with the beta, reported Game Informer.
With the movie's release so close, fans can expect plenty of bonuses that will connect with it. Tthe downloadable content for the game will explore stories related to the movie and give insight into the fallen Star Destroyer and X-wing that were shown in the "Force Awakens" trailer.
