Blackberry has announced the release of the Z30 at a Kuala Lumpur event, the newest phone for the cellphone company, but how do the specs compare to the iPhone 5S?
The iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are arguably the most hyped phones of the year, creeping in on Samsung's Galaxy Gear announcement earlier this month, even if it was just a "tech watch" it still got people excited. Now Blackberry is in on the smartphone race.
Here's a quick rundown of Z30 specs:
1. 5-inch Super AMOLED display
2. 11.7 GHz processor to give gaming more details than ever before.
3. ABlackBerry Priority Hub "giving users one place to manage all conversations and notifications."
4. BBM is still integrated in the phone
5. BlackBerry Natural Sound: 10.2 operating system that is supposed to make calls and video sounds more clearer.
6. New antennae tech that will minimize your percentage of drop calls.
7. "The smartphone has a 2880 mAh internal battery, which is the largest ever fitted into a BlackBerry smartphone. The manufacturer promises the battery is good for 25 hours of mixed-use per charge."
SlashGear.com gave a summary about the iPhone 5 specs:
"That A6 chip lends to 'twice the CPU and graphics performance,' and that 8-megapixel iSight camera on the back comes with a sapphire crystal lens that not only provides 'a crystal clear' image, but is also more durable than standard glass. The iPhone 5 takes advantage of Apple-developed single-radio LTE, and also has dual-band 802.11n Wi-Fi support at its disposal. Even though the iPhone 5 comes with a brand new Lightning connector, users will be able to connect to legacy 30-pin devices through the use of a special adapter, so Apple has you covered there. On the front we also have a "FaceTime HD" 1.2-megapixel camera, capable of shooting in 720p."
Apple also added Touch ID, which is new fingerprint sensor technology that will allow users to lock their phone using their prints and a 64-bit processor.
