The first season of “Graceland” came to a close last Thursday and deservedly it has been renewed for another season. In the finale everything seemed to work out as Mike (Aaron Tveit) got a nice job in D.C., Jangles (Vincent Laresca) was caught, Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) was exonerated and the house was kept in play. The show also left us with a couple nice cliff hangers—Briggs called Mike for an unknown favor and a couple kids found the tape incriminating Briggs in agent Juan Badillo’s (Pedro Pascal) death. With all that said, here is my wishlist for Season 2 of “Graceland”
No. 1—Mike back at the house
You could see in the season finally that Mike definitely missed being at Graceland—this is a good thing because he needs to go back. They’re a family and without Mike they’re missing one of their members.
No. 2—“Maige”
The little kiss Mike and Paige (Serinda Swan) shared in the season finale was nice and all but, I'm sorry, that can’t be it! It was adorable to see them work as a team and to witness the way Paige trusted Mike despite his “nark” status. C’mon Mr. Eastin, you and your writers can’t make us wait another season.
No. 3—Another House Member
If viewers can recall back to earlier in the season there was another house member named Lauren (Scottie Thompson) who was forced to leave the house. This means there is an open spot in Graceland even if Mike comes back. Another house member means another person in the family. Another family member means more drama. More drama creates a better viewing experience for us fans. Sounds like a good idea to me.
“Graceland” returns next summer on USA Network.
